Maple's BC Fetish Share

Overview

Fetish Share is, for now, a simple plugin designed to enhance user bios by surfacing the existing Player Arousal Settings. The plugin reads the Arousal Settings of the players in the room, and allows the user to compare their own settings to those players. It also includes a compatibility calculation, which calculates the fetish and activity compatibility between the user and the player.

Install

To install, you first need a userscript runner like Violentmonkey. I recommend using Firefox, as Google Chrome may lose support for these plugins soon. Once you have a userscript manager installed:

Base Game Settings

The plugin currently uses the base game settings to calculate compatibility. This is why you can see the arousal settings of players who don’t have the plugin. The plugin reads the settings from the player model, which is visible to everyone.

Unfortunately, the base game arousal settings are limited and not very user-friendly. In the future, I’ll improve this with a better list of fetishes and activities. For now, this section will explain how to use the base game settings.

Changing these settings affects the game's arousal system.

Your Fetish and Activity preferences affect the game's arousal system. For example, if you “Love” a fetish or activity, your character’s arousal increases faster when exposed to it.

Some players may find this frustrating because they prefer to control their character’s arousal manually for roleplay reasons.

Also, if you select “Hate” for an activity, the game will stop other players from performing that activity on you.

How to Change Your Preferences

1. Open the game and go to the settings page.

2. Click on the "Arousal" tab.

3. For Fetish preferences, you can choose how you feel about each one: hate, dislike, neutral, like, or love. The game uses these settings in different ways. Here's my current interpretation:

4. For Activity preferences, you can choose how much you enjoy "giving" and "receiving" each activity. Remember:

   • The plugin checks if what you like to give matches what other players like to receive. It does not care if you like to give what they also like to give.
   • Activities that can only be done to yourself (like “Shout into gag”) aren’t included in the compatibility calculation, even though the game allows you to set preferences for them.

5. After setting your preferences, go to the “Fetish Share” tab in the Extension settings. Here, you’ll see your profile card, and the plugin will update compatibility calculations based on your new preferences.

Future Plans

• The current list of fetishes in the game is limited, and the plugin only works with those. If this plugin is popular, I plan to add more fetishes. Using the new list would require both players to have the plugin, but it will still work with the original fetishes.
• Many other mods add their own activities to the game. These activities are already in the game data, and I should be able to show them in the plugin. However, there's currently no way for players to say which of these mod activities they like or dislike. In the future, I hope to create a new settings page to let players choose their preferences for these activities.
• After adding more fetishes, I'm considering adding a feature to let players import fetishes from Kinklist.
